750 x 600mm Sealed & Locking Recessed Manhole Cover 5 Tonne or 10 Tonne

The 750 x 600mm sealed and locking recessed manhole cover is designed for installations where both access and odour control are required, with the option to select between 5 tonne and 10 tonne load ratings depending on application.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, the cover and frame provide a rigid and durable structure suited to internal floors such as kitchens, basements and service areas. The factory fitted double neoprene sealing gasket works with the screw locking system to compress the lid onto the frame, helping prevent odours escaping from the drainage system.

The 5 tonne option is intended for pedestrian areas and internal use. The 10 tonne option is suitable for external applications such as driveways where light vehicle loading is expected. Selecting the correct load rating is important, as using a lower rated cover in trafficked areas can lead to failure.

The recessed tray allows for concrete or screed infill, maintaining a flush finish with the surrounding surface while preserving access to the chamber below. This format also provides an alternative to standard T26G3 covers where a double sealed system is required.

This cover is manufactured from galvanised mild steel for both the tray and frame. The galvanised finish provides resistance to general corrosion, while the steel construction improves rigidity and long term performance. The double neoprene seal provides improved sealing compared to standard single gasket designs.
