300 x 300mm Sealed & Locking Solid Top Manhole Cover

This 300 x 300mm sealed and locking solid top manhole cover range is designed for installations where a standard plain seated cover does not provide enough control. Each option combines a galvanised steel lid and frame with an integrated seal and four screw locking system to help restrict odours, debris and unwanted lid movement.

Unlike a recessed cover, the lid remains visible after installation and does not accept infill materials. The raised tread steel lid provides grip underfoot and a durable finish for regularly used access points. The compact 300mm x 300mm clear opening suits many smaller drainage chambers, rodding points and inspection access locations.

All options share the same 40mm overall frame depth, making selection simpler where installation depth is fixed or when replacing an existing shallow cover. The correct variant can then be selected by loading requirement.

The Pedestrian option is suited to foot traffic areas, internal floors and landscaped spaces. The 5 Tonne option is commonly used on domestic driveways and light vehicles. The 10 Tonne option is intended for more demanding private traffic areas and lightly trafficked service locations.

A common ordering mistake is choosing by size only. The chamber opening and the real traffic loading must both be checked before ordering.
