100mm Hinged & Locking Surface Box Cover

The CD 880 surface box cover is a compact utility access cover designed for water stop taps and service valves where regular ground level access is required. It is commonly used in pedestrian areas such as pavements, landscaped areas, pathways and roadside verges.

The hinged lid allows the cover to open without being fully removed, which reduces handling time during inspection or valve operation. A locking screw provision helps keep the lid closed during normal use and limits unintended opening.

Manufactured from polypropylene Grade AP9, this unit offers a lightweight and corrosion resistant alternative to traditional metal boxes. It is suitable for wet ground conditions and routine external installations where rust resistance and easy handling are useful.
