220–300mm Square to Round Grass & Gravel Recessed Manhole Cover 3.5 Tonne

This square to round recessed manhole cover is designed for installations where the chamber opening is circular but the surrounding finish is square, such as paving or landscaping layouts. The integrated adaptor can be cut to suit chamber openings between 220mm and 300mm diameter, removing the need to cut paving around a circular lid.

The recessed tray allows the selected infill to sit flush with the surrounding surface. The grass top version supports soil and turf using drainage holes and membrane layers to allow water to pass through while encouraging growth. The gravel top version incorporates an EcoGrid reinforcement layer, designed to stabilise loose aggregate and prevent movement under foot or light vehicle loading.

The 80mm tray depth is suited to shallow landscaping build-ups. It provides sufficient depth for turf establishment or contained aggregate without excessive build-up height.

Manufactured from polypropylene, the unit is corrosion resistant and lightweight, making it suitable for external ground conditions and straightforward to install. It is rated for light domestic vehicle use, but not for frequent or heavy traffic.

Selection should always be based on the clear opening range of the chamber, ensuring the adaptor can be correctly trimmed to suit.
