220 to 300mm Plain Seated Solid Top Manhole Cover, 3.5 Tonne

This 220 to 300mm plain seated solid top manhole cover is designed for domestic driveway applications where a lightweight, corrosion-resistant access cover is required. The square outer frame gives a neat visible finish, while the stepped circular spigot below allows the unit to adapt to a range of common round chamber risers.

Manufactured from polypropylene Grade AP9, the cover provides a practical alternative to steel where rust resistance, easier handling and low maintenance are priorities. The solid top lid remains visible after installation and does not require any recessed infill materials. Clark Drain states the cover is ideal for tarmac, grass and gravel areas.

The unique stepped spigot reducer is designed to suit chamber openings from 220mm to 300mm diameter and is noted as a suitable partner for Clark Drain CD U353 and CD U355 chamber risers. The rotatable square frame can also be aligned with surrounding paving for a tidier finished appearance.

This model has a fixed 35kN load rating, classed for domestic driveway use. It is suitable for cars and similar light vehicles in private settings, but it is not intended for public highways or heavy commercial traffic.
