Description

This recessed manhole cover is designed for installations where the access chamber needs to remain hidden within a soft or loose surface finish. The 100mm tray depth allows for sufficient build-up of soil, turf or gravel so the cover sits flush with the surrounding ground.

The Grass Top version uses drainage holes and membrane layers within the tray. These allow water to pass through while retaining soil, supporting grass growth directly within the cover.

The EcoGrid option incorporates a plastic cellular grid within the tray. This stabilises gravel and loose materials, preventing migration and movement under foot or light vehicles. It is typically specified where the surrounding surface is gravel or permeable paving.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, this cover is suitable for external use only and light vehicular traffic such as domestic driveways.
