600 x 450mm Block Paving Recessed Manhole Cover 10 Tonne

This block paving recessed manhole cover is designed to allow paving materials to be installed within the lid so the finished surface remains continuous. It is commonly used over inspection chambers in patios, driveways and landscaped areas.

With a 10 tonne load rating, it is suitable for domestic driveways and areas subject to light vehicle traffic. The galvanised steel tray provides the structural strength, while the surrounding frame transfers load into the ground rather than through the infill material.

The 80mm tray depth is suited to deeper paving build-ups, including thicker slabs or installations where additional bedding layers are required. This helps avoid weak infill and ensures the finished surface sits flush with surrounding levels.

The cover combines a galvanised steel tray with a polypropylene frame, reducing overall weight while maintaining durability in external environments. It is non-sealed and intended for external use.
