600 x 450mm Block Paving Recessed Manhole Cover 10 Tonne Galvanised Steel

This block paving recessed manhole cover is designed to allow paving materials to be installed within the lid so the finished surface remains continuous. It is typically used over inspection chambers in patios, driveways and landscaped areas.

With a 10 tonne load rating, it is suitable for domestic driveways and areas with light vehicle traffic. The fully galvanised steel construction provides increased rigidity compared to composite or polypropylene frame designs, helping maintain stability under load and improving bedding performance during installation.

The 80mm tray depth is suited to deeper paving build-ups, including thicker slabs or additional bedding layers. This ensures the infill sits flush with the surrounding surface without compromising support.

Unlike mixed material designs, this unit is fully steel, which can be preferred where a more rigid frame is required. It remains non-sealed and is intended for external applications only.
