Description

This heavy duty block paving recessed manhole cover is designed for installations where both a concealed finish and high load capacity are required. The recessed tray allows paving materials to be installed within the lid so the finished surface remains level and continuous.

With a 38 tonne load rating, it is suitable for heavy vehicle traffic, including commercial yards, access roads and industrial environments. This makes it a different specification category to standard domestic driveway covers and must be installed within a suitable structural surround to achieve its rated performance.

The 100mm tray depth is intended for deeper paving build-ups, including thicker slabs and reinforced bedding layers. This ensures the infill is properly supported and remains flush with surrounding surfaces under load.

The fully galvanised steel construction provides the rigidity required for higher load classes. Corner pads are incorporated to improve bedding and load transfer into the surrounding structure.
