600 x 600mm Stainless Steel 316 Recessed Manhole Cover

This recessed manhole cover is manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel for installations where corrosion resistance is required. It is commonly specified in internal wet areas such as commercial kitchens, plant rooms, leisure facilities and pool surrounds, as well as external environments exposed to regular cleaning or harsh conditions.

The recessed tray allows tiles, stone or resin finishes to be installed within the lid so the cover sits flush with the surrounding surface. The 32mm tray depth is suited to thinner floor build-ups, avoiding issues where deeper covers would conflict with finished floor levels.

A double seal system helps restrict odours and minor surface water movement from below, making it suitable for foul water chambers and internal drainage access points. The four point locking arrangement secures the cover to the frame, maintaining seal compression and reducing movement under foot traffic.

This cover is designed for pedestrian use only and should not be used in areas subject to vehicle loading. As shown in the technical drawing, correct installation and infill are required to achieve the stated performance .
