600 x 600mm Stainless Steel 316 Recessed Manhole Cover 50mm

This stainless steel recessed manhole cover is manufactured from grade 316 stainless steel for installations where corrosion resistance and increased tray depth are required. It is suited to internal wet areas, plant rooms, commercial environments and external locations exposed to regular cleaning or aggressive conditions.

The recessed tray allows tiles, concrete or resin finishes to be installed within the lid so the cover sits flush with the surrounding floor. The 50mm tray depth is designed for thicker floor build-ups, avoiding the common issue of specifying a shallow cover where greater structural infill is needed.

A double seal arrangement helps restrict odours and surface water movement from below, making it suitable for foul water chambers and internal drainage access. The four point locking system secures the cover to the frame, maintaining seal compression and reducing movement under load.

This cover achieves FACTA AA loading when filled correctly with fibre reinforced concrete to the specified level. As shown in the technical drawing, correct infill and installation are required to achieve this performance .
