Description

This tile insert recessed manhole cover is designed to provide concealed access within tiled floors and paved areas. The 600mm x 600mm overall frame matches standard tile formats, allowing the surrounding layout to continue without disruption.

The recessed tray accepts tile, adhesive and bedding build-up to achieve a flush finish. This avoids the need to cut tiles around the opening, which is a common cause of poor visual results and weak edges. The clear opening of 494mm x 494mm relates to the chamber access below and must always be checked against site requirements.

A double neoprene seal and screw locking system help prevent odours escaping in internal environments such as bathrooms, kitchens and utility areas. This type of sealing is also suitable for external use where surface water ingress needs to be controlled.
