750 x 600mm Plain Seated Solid Top Manhole Cover, 5 Tonne

This 750 x 600mm plain seated solid top manhole cover is designed for driveway and private access installations where reliable vehicle loading, visible access and durable steel construction are required. Unlike a recessed cover, the lid remains exposed after installation and does not require paving, concrete or tile infill.

Manufactured from mild steel, the cover and frame are hot dip galvanised to help resist corrosion in normal external environments. The lid features a raised tread pattern to improve grip underfoot and provide a practical finish for regularly used access points.

The generous rectangular clear opening provides useful working space for drainage chambers, utility access points and inspection areas. A shallow 40mm overall depth can also help where installation depth is limited or where an existing shallow frame is being replaced.

This model has a fixed 5 Tonne gross plated weight rating and is intended for domestic driveways, cars and similar light vehicle traffic in private settings. It is not intended for public highways or heavy commercial traffic.

Integrated lifting keyholes are provided for removal using two CD 553 or CD 556 lifting keys, available separately.
