750 x 750mm Sealed & Locking Recessed Manhole Cover

The 750 x 750mm sealed and locking recessed manhole cover is designed for installations where a larger square access opening is required while maintaining sealing performance. Manufactured from galvanised steel, both the tray and frame provide a rigid and stable structure suited to internal floor construction.

This cover is typically used in internal environments such as plant rooms, basements and service areas, where access is required but odour control remains important. The factory fitted sealing gasket works with the screw locking system to compress the lid onto the frame, helping reduce odour escape from the chamber.

The recessed tray allows for concrete or screed infill so the finished surface remains flush with the surrounding floor. It can also be used externally in pedestrian areas such as patios, but it is not suitable for trafficked locations due to its 5 tonne load rating.

Larger format covers can be prone to movement if not properly bedded. The profiled steel frame helps improve stability within the surrounding material, reducing long term movement and maintaining a consistent seal.
