Security and specialist manhole covers are access covers designed for installations where standard covers do not provide sufficient control, safety or compatibility with the site requirements. These covers are typically specified where access needs to be restricted or where the chamber design falls outside standard dimensions or configurations.

Security covers are used in locations where unauthorised access must be prevented. This includes public areas, schools, commercial premises and infrastructure sites where access to underground services needs to be controlled. Specialist covers are used where standard products cannot accommodate the installation. This may include non standard chamber sizes, multi part covers for large openings or covers designed to integrate with specific surface finishes or structural requirements.
